Gwen Jorden, D.D.S. - The Boss

Dr. Jorden is a Lubbock native and Cooper High School graduate of 1961. She
attended Caruth School of Dental Hygiene 1965 and worked as a dental
hygienist until she returned to college. In 1980 she graduated from Baylor
College of Dentistry and now practices general dentistry. She has 48 years
experience in the dental field.
Her hobbies include spending time with her grandchildren. When she is not
enjoying time with her family she enjoys basketball and music.

Jessica Bell, BSDH, RDH - Dental Hygienist

Experience in the field: Since 1995
Jessica is Dr. Jorden's registered dental hygienist that first started working in this dental office back in high school as a scrub tech and then later a dental assistant. Jessica completed her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from MCV/VCU School of Dentistry in 2004. She practiced in a multi-practice dental anesthesia office in Virginia for 4 years before deciding to move back home to Lubbock after her husband ended his tour in the Marine Corps. She brings a gentle approach to your dental cleanings, making your visit comfortable and enjoyable while ridding your mouth of inflammation-causing bacteria that has been proven to affect your overall health. Her periodontal examinations are your first line of defense against gum disease. She also offers affordable, professional bleaching services to help get you that brighter, whiter smile. Jessica is available for scheduling your new patient examination or your routine cleanings and is ready to answer any questions you bring.

Katie Copeland, RDA - Registered Dental Assistant

Experience in the field: Since 1982
Katie has been working alongside Dr. Jorden for more than 20 years. She is
an expanded functions dental assistant with her RDA, nitrous oxide, coronal
polishing, and sealant certifications. She is also an assistant with
orthodontic experience. Katie is a registered massage therapist and a local
resident of Lubbock.
Katie is a mother of two and a grandmother of two adorable little boys. She
enjoys attending her youngest son's football games, track meets, and loves
time with her eldest son and his family. Katie is also involved in a daily
prayer by phone group with ladies from her church. Katie enjoys photography
and anything that will allow her to enjoy the outdoors.
